"...made I a decree to bring in all the wise men..."

  • As in the case of the dream of Daniel 2, the wise men were summoned. In this instance, however, the king had not forgotten the contents of the dream. The demand of the king for an interpretation of it was therefore vastly different from that described in Daniel 2:5. (4BC 788)
